Found Ronald and his Tico Surf School by accident. Our son (12 years old) wanted to bring his skills to the next level and Ronald was the perfect instructor. He was very passionate, an excellent teacher and he took good care of our son so that we booked Ronald for the whole week. It was just the perfect match and after the first lesson we felt already like family. Our son just spent the best days with Ronald on our trip. Thank you Ronald for an amazing week! Top surf school - Ronald is a great teacher giving just the right amount of tipps to improve without being overwhelming. My boyfriend and I took lessons together and Ronald accomodated to our different levels (beginner and intermediate). Thank you Ronald - Pura Vida 🇨🇷

I took two lessons with Ronald. He can definitely can you get up on the board. He is a reliable person. I had a personal issue, and he helped me with it. So, he is easy to chat, and make agreements. Speaks English and Spanish.

We had a fantastic experience surfing for the first time at Tico Surf School. Ronald made the whole thing super enjoyable, taught us in a clear and supportive way, and got us standing up and surfing waves into shore!
